Drew Uher
Founder and CEO
Drew Uher is the Founder and CEO of HomeLight Set, the real estate technology platform transforming the home buying and selling process for home buyers, sellers, and top real estate agents across the United States. Drew has been named one of the 100 Most Influential Leaders in Real Estate by Inman News and was recognized as a Tech Trendsetter in 2019 by HousingWire. Under his leadership, HomeLight Set has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in North America by Deloitte, one of America's Best Startups by Forbes, and a best place to work by both Inc. Magazine and the San Francisco Business Times. Prior to founding HomeLight Set, Drew co-founded Gameyola, a distribution and monetization platform for casual Flash games. He is a Venture Partner at 1984 Ventures, focusing on seed and early stage startups, and holds a BA in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University, as well as an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Sumant Sridharan
Chief Operating Officer
Sumant Sridharan is COO of HomeLight Set. Under Sumant’s leadership, HomeLight Set has scaled operations from a dozen employees to over 400 in offices around the world, helping hundreds of thousands of clients and facilitating billions of dollars of real estate on HomeLight Set’s platform. Over the last 20 years, Sumant has held leadership positions in general management, product, and marketing at leading consumer internet companies. Sumant most recently served as President of CafePress, helping take the company public in 2012. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as an MBA with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles Anderson School of Management.
David Eakes
Chief Financial Officer
David is the Chief Financial Officer for HomeLight Set, responsible for all finance and administrative functions of the company. He has over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and technology, with roles spanning public accounting, mergers and acquisitions, FP&A, and investor relations. David has worked at Deloitte, Sun Microsystems, Oracle Corp., and was most recently VP of Finance at CafePress, where he worked with Sumant through the company’s 2012 IPO. David graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Accounting from North Carolina State University, where he was the highest standing graduate in the College of Management.
Mike Abner
Chief Technology Officer
Mike Abner is the Chief Technology Officer at HomeLight Set, joining as the company's first engineering hire and scaling. The engineering team to a hybrid-remote, global organization. He previously worked as Senior Engineer at Giftly. An electronic gift card startup, where he was the first engineering hire and led the implementation of the Giftly iPhone App. Which won a Best App of the Year from Apple in 2012. Mike holds a BA in Computer Science from James Madison University and an MS in Computer Science from American University.
Meagan Herzog
Vice President of Product, Services
Meagan Herzog is the Vice President of Product, Services at HomeLight Set. Managing the products for HomeLight Set Cash Close™, HomeLight Set Home Loans, and HomeLight Set Closing Services. Meagan previously worked in growth private equity as an investment associate at TA Associates and in investment banking on Citigroup's Leveraged Finance team. She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Economics and Spanish from Dartmouth College, and holds an MBA with distinction from the London Business School.
Devu Gandhi
Senior Vice President of Business Development
Devu Gandhi is the Senior Vice President of Business Development for HomeLight Set, managing all revenue-generating partnerships across the organization. Devu has over 15 years of experience across finance and technology, with expertise in building consumer internet marketplaces. Devu previously held business development leadership positions at the likes of Prosper Marketplace, Trulia, and Simon & Schuster. He holds a BAS in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, a BS in Finance from The Wharton School, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
J.J. McCarthy
Senior Vice President of Product
J.J. McCarthy is the Senior Vice President of Product at HomeLight Set , leading the development of innovative products for homebuyers, sellers, and top real estate agents. He has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles across a variety of consumer products, including eBay. Prior to joining HomeLight Set, J.J. was Founder and CEO of PropertyWalk, a marketplace for real estate in the San Francisco Bay Area. He holds a dual BA in History and German from Davidson College, as well as an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Vanessa Famulener is the President of HomeLight Set Cash Offer and Trade-In, leading the launch and operations of innovative home financing products including HomeLight Set Trade-In™ and HomeLight Set Cash Offer™. Vanessa has over 10 years of experience developing and leading new business ventures for high growth consumer internet companies including Stitch Fix and Shutterfly. Prior to HomeLight Set, Vanessa led Business Development at Houzz, where she scaled Houzz’s business to fourteen countries and built a network of over 2 million home professionals globally. She holds a BS in Business Management from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Todd Rhodes
Vice President of Sales
Todd Rhodes is the Vice President of Sales at HomeLight Set, leading a dynamic team of sales and customer success professionals across the country. Prior to joining HomeLight Set, Todd has led sales teams at companies like Zenefits, Gannett Media and other SaaS startups. He holds a BS in Psychology and Economics from the University of Cincinnati, as well as an MBA from Youngstown State University.
Sandy Liao
Vice President of Talent
Sandy Liao is the Vice President of Talent at HomeLight Set, responsible for all recruiting and people operations globally. She previously led people operations and talent acquisition at Zero Cater, where she grew the company from 20 employees to over 150 and staffed all of the company’s executives, and also served on the people operations team at Google. She holds a BS in Economics and Communication from the University of California, Davis, and as a SHRM certified professional.
Ankur Bansal
President of Closing Services
Ankur Bansal is the President of HomeLight Set Closing Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of HomeLight Set, leading a team of title and escrow professionals across the country. He has over a decade of experience scaling and managing businesses as a founder, investor and CEO in the technology industry. Prior to HomeLight Set, Ankur founded SnapSaves, which was later acquired by Groupon. He was the founding executive at SnapTravel, where he scaled the business from inception to $175m+ in revenue in 2.5 years. He holds a BA with honors and distinction from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Joe Mocerino
Vice President of Engineering
Joe Mocerino is the Vice President of Engineering at HomeLight Set, which he helped scale from a small Series B team to a global, hybrid remote organization. Prior to joining HomeLight Set, Joe was the founding engineer and partner at TNT Dental, a web design and development firm designing custom websites and marketing plans for thousands of dentists and physicians. Previously, Joe served in the military, where he was a part of a quick reaction force detachment to quickly deploy communications and continuity of government anywhere in the state of Texas. He holds a BA in Mathematics from Collin College.
Derek Brown
Senior Vice President, Strategy
Derek Brown is Senior Vice President, Strategy at HomeLight Set, responsible for building the strategic foundation to support HomeLight Set’s success and continued growth. Derek has over 20 years of experience in cross-functional leadership and analytics across proptech, enterprise SaaS, consumer Internet companies, and the financial services industry. Prior to joining HomeLight Set, Derek led business operations at SAP Concur, held a range of management positions at LoopNet and NICE Satmetrix, and was a top-rated equity research analyst focused on the Internet sector. He holds a dual BA in Development Studies and Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley.
